Seven Hills Vineyard
Just ten miles south of Pepper Bridge Winery on the edge of the Walla Walla Valley Appellation, you’ll find Seven Hills Vineyard. The original couple dozen acres of plantings date back to 1981. Now the vineyard boasts more than 235 acres of premium wine grapes. This premier vineyard is the source of fruit for many of the fine wineries in the state and valley. Wine & Spirits Magazine profiled it in its Fall 2004 issue as one of the ten great vineyards of the world.
Located in Yakima Valley, Washington just south of Red Mountain. The 32-acre vineyard specializes in Pinot Gris, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition, Skyfall also contains 88 acres of varied fruit-bearing orchards. Aptly named Skyfall, after the boulders that are strewed amongst the vineyard and orchards, appearing as if they had fallen from the sky.
Corliss Estates Red Mountain Vineyard
Corliss’ first Red Mountain vineyard, purchased in 2007, was 33 acres originally planted in 1989 to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. It is located on Sunset Road – a Red Mountain sweet spot that they refer to as ‘the tenderloin’. The fruit from this site has historically produced some of the finest wines from Washington State. Corliss farms these vineyards to exacting standards, practicing sustainable viticulture methods exclusively, in order to produce site-specific wines. The fruit is hand-picked and hand-sorted in the vineyards.
